Cindy Farida is a Manhattan-based actress, comedian, dancer, singer, and martial artist.

Originally from Cincinnati, Cindy spent most of her life Yorba Linda, CA. After graduating from high school, Cindy attended the University of California at Irvine where she earned her Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Political Science. She went on to work in the tech industry for several years.

Eventually, she grew tired of writing instruction manuals that nobody read. She realized she NEEDED to get out from behind the desk and get up on the stage (and in front of the camera). She went back to school and earned her Associate of Arts degree in Theatre with a concentration in Dance.

Cindy moved from the Bay Area to Manhattan in 2021. Since then, when she is not acting she is dancing at the Broadway Dance Center (which has thrice awarded her the Richard Ellner Scholarship for her dedication), dancing with DCL Arts Collective, or in a kickboxing class somewhere (a real boxing class, not HIIT-pretending-to-be-boxing!).

Cindy has also been involved with martial arts for most of her life. She started Tae Kwon Do lessons at 15 and earned her first degree black belt before graduating high school. She has also studied karate, Wing Chun, boxing, and kickboxing.

A melting pot of varying ethnicities, Cindy aims to bring her unconventional perspective to the stage and screen. Her goal is to let Asian-Americans with unusual upbringings and backgrounds like hers see a version of themselves  represented.
